With a 3.6-liter V-6 engine or four other optional designs including a powerhouse HEMI V8, the new Jeep Wrangler matches its nimble trail ready drivetrain with a powerful engine capable of tackling steep ascents, tricky descents and all the city driving in between.
Two eco-friendly designs compliment the gas powered V6 and V8 engines. The V6 design offers up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. For the V8 design, 470 horsepower is matched by 470 pound-feet of torque, giving this powerful engine the strength it needs to dig into loose terrain. The towing capacity of the Wrangler is up to 3,500 pounds, plenty of power for a trailer with gear, ATVs or personal watercraft.

The eco engines deliver the best miles per gallon rating, with the plug-in hybrid offering 49 combined mpg. The V6 offers 20 city mpg and 24 highway mpg, while the V8 delivers 13 mpg in the city and 17 on the highway.
