5. Where should I take my vehicle for Can I take my vehicle anywhere for maintenance or service?
At our authorized FCA US LLC dealers, we have factory-trained technicians, as well as service equipment designed exclusively with the maintenance or service of your Ram vehicle in mind. Whatever need you have can be met by one of our authorized dealers - whether that involves purchasing genuine parts, customizing your accessories, or having maintenance done by a Mopar certified technician.
8. How do I ensure that my warranty remains valid?
You can play your part in maintaining your warranty by servicing your vehicle at the required service intervals and also by being proactive in addressing any issues that arise. Your owner's manual provides clear service timelines, however, ensure that you listen to the built in features of the vehicle, and take note of features such as the "check engine" dashboard lights that will alert you if extraordinary maintenance is needed.
6. How can I determine if there is an outstanding service recall for my vehicle?
Recalls are announced if a manufacturer recognizes, after production, that one of its vehicles has a defect. The manufacturer assumes full responsibility for this defect, and stands the costs associated with repairing or replacing the affected component to ensure that your vehicle meets established quality standards.

Additional Vehicle Maintenance Schedule: 45,000 Miles or 36 Months
• Examine front end. Lubricate also, if equipped with serviceable fittings.
• Inspect drive belt and replace as necessary.
• Replace cabin air filter.
• Inspect Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and refill if necessary.
Primary Vehicle Maintenance Schedule: 7,500 Miles or 6 Months
• Inspect the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and refill if necessary.
• Rotate tires.
• Examine CV/Universal joints.
Additional Vehicle Maintenance Schedule: 52,500 Miles 42 Months
• Inspect Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and refill if necessary.
• Rotate tires.
• Examine CV/Universal joints.
Secondary Vehicle Maintenance Schedule: 15,000 Miles or 12 Months
• Examine front end. Lubricate also, if equipped with serviceable fittings.
• Examine the engine air filter and replace if necessary. The air cleaner filter element should never exceed 30,000 miles (48,000 km) or 24 months - whichever comes first.
• Examine CV/Universal joints.
• The front suspension, tie rod ends and boot seals should be inspected for cracks or leaks. Ensure that all parts are thoroughly assessed for damage, wear, improper looseness or end play, and make any replacements deemed necessary.
Additional Vehicle Maintenance Schedule: 37,500 Miles or 30 Months
• Inspect Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and refill if necessary.
• Rotate tires.
• Examine CV/Universal joints.
